…Abrus Seed

Have you ever heard of KUNDUMANI??? Not known of it? We in South India used to call the ABRUS SEED as KUNDUMANI… Its one of my favourite collections… I love the color of the seed and a crazy lover of collecting these seeds. I have a huge collection of this seed. I gave a few of it for my sister as she wished to present her friend by making her name out of these seeds 🙂 🙂 🙂

This was how she made it in a cardboard sheet and presented her friend 🙂

We might all have seen this seed but many might call it with different name in each city…

Its called in the following names : ‘John Crow’ bead, abrus seed, black-eyed susan, buddhist rosary bead, coral pea, coral bead plant, deadly crab’s eye, indian bead, indian liquorice, jamaican licorice, jequerity seeds, jequirity bean, jumbie beads, licorice vine, love bean, lucky bean, prayer beads, precatory bean, red beadvine, rosary beads, rosary pea, weather plant, wild liquorice.
