This 1970 Plymouth Barracuda was acquired by the seller in 2019 after being refurbished, and subsequent work consisted of installing power steering and TTI exhaust headers as well as replacing the alternator and spark plugs. The car is powered by a replacement 440ci V8 mated with a four-speed manual transmission and is finished in purple over white vinyl upholstery. Features include a Rallye dual scoop hood, black hockey stick stripes, power front disc brakes, 15″ Cragar wheels, electronic ignition, a four-barrel carburetor, a Kenwood stereo, aftermarket speakers, and a trunk-mounted amplifier and subwoofer. The car spent time in California before being moved to Florida. This Barracuda is offered with a copy of The Face magazine featuring the car, car show awards, refurbishment photos, service records, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in purple and is said to have been repainted under previous ownership. Features include a satin silver grille, a black tail panel, a Rallye dual scoop hood, black hockey stick stripes, dual mirrors, and rectangular dual exhaust outlets that exit through the rear bumper.

Chrome 15″ Cragar wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires measuring 205/60 up front and 255/60 out back. A space-saver spare is mounted in the trunk. Power steering was installed under current ownership, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in white vinyl joined by a color-coordinated headliner and door panels. Equipment includes faux woodgrain trim accents, a Hurst pistol-grip shifter, polished door sills, lap belts, a Kenwood stereo, aftermarket speakers, and a trunk-mounted amplifier and subwoofer. The turn signal switch is said to have been replaced in 2023.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer, a multifunction gauge, and an analog clock. The five-digit odometer shows 3,300 miles, approximately all of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The replacement 440ci V8 was rebuilt and installed under previous ownership and features electronic ignition and a four-barrel carburetor. The spark plugs were replaced and the TTI exhaust headers were installed in January 2023.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and an 8¾” rear axle with a limited-slip differential. The clutch was adjusted in 2023.
