This Plymouth Barracuda got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1974 Plymouth Barracuda hardtop was acquired by the seller in 2013 and was subsequently refurbished and modified during a process that was completed in early 2022. Work consisted of stripping and refinishing the body in Plum Crazy, reupholstering the interior, plus installing a USCT Motorsports chassis-stiffening kit, aftermarket suspension components, and a 440ci V8 linked with an A833 four-speed manual transmission and an 8¾ rear axle with a 3.55:1 SureGrip differential and DoctorDiff high-strength axles and bearings. Features include white vinyl upholstery, an AAR Quality Fiberglass scooped hood, a front spoiler, a 1970-style tail panel, 1971-style fender gills, power steering, MBM four-wheel disc brakes, American Racing 15″ wheels, an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Holley 750-cfm carburetor, MSD ignition components, and Pro Comp aluminum cylinder heads as well as a March Performance billet serpentine-drive system, ’Cuda badging, Vintage Air climate control, a pistol-grip shifter, and a Pioneer CD stereo. This modified Barracuda is now offered with a binder of refurbishment photos, Ora’s Engines invoice and dynamometer sheets, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The removed fender tag indicates that the vehicle is a Barracuda hardtop coupe (BH23) that was originally equipped with a 318ci V8 and a two-barrel carburetor (E44) along with a three-speed automatic transmission (D34). The tag also reveals that the car came finished from the factory in Deep Sherwood Metallic (KG8) over green vinyl upholstery and front bucket seats (A6G6).
