Description

Near Manali, Patalsu Peak at 4200m (13,800 ft) is a moderately easy summit. Don’t miss this opportunity and plan a getaway to the Himalayas. Go on Patalsu Peak trek if you want your holidays to be full of excitement. This is five days long expedition, and will take you to a maximum height of 13451 feet above sea level at the summit of Mount Patalsu.

Patalsu Peak trekking starts from the old bridge on the day. You first travel up to the famous Solang Valley, which becomes a lively ski resort in the winter season. Continue trek to Shagadugh, climbing through pine and meadows, deodar and oak forests occupied by Monals and Pheasants among other fauna for two days to the summit. Campsite set at Shagadugh, offers panoramic views of the entire Kullu valley and Hanuman Tibba, Friendship Peak, and Manali Peak.
After camping at night in Shagadugh, you resume your Patalsu Peak trekking tour. In the roughly 7 hours, for which you will keep on the trails the next day, you will scale Patalsu Peak, From the summit, you can see a sea of snow-covered mountains towering over the Kullu valley, and outstanding views into Lahaul and Spiti. Along with traditional Kullu hospitality and signature Manali forests, the Patalsu trail offers amazing views of the Beas Kund peaks including Hanuman Tibba, to round up a perfect beginner’s summit! After spending some time at the summit point, return to Shagadugh, stay at the campsite. The next day you will then trek down to the Solang Valley and board a vehicle to Manali.

Itinerary

Arrival in Manali. Drive to Campsite. Take rest and enjoy the Campsite at Manali.
Drive Manali to Solang. Trek Solang valley to Shagadugh (9700 ft) - 3 km Trek Early morning report in Manali and board your vehicles for the short drive to Solang valley- the starting point of Patalsu Peak Trek. From Solang, we will hike to the huge meadows of Shagadugh. Before opening up at the Shagadugh meadows, the trail consists of a gradual ascent through pine and oak forests. We set camp here for the night.
Shagadugh to Patalsu Summit (13,800 ft) and back to Shagadugh - 8 km Trek We will begin early for the Patalsu summit push. After crossing the flat fields at the base of the peak, we will climb through steep, exposed terrain over a ridge for our summit push. After reaching the summit, we will spend some time with amazing views of the Beas Kund peaks, before returning back to Shagadugh.
Shagadugh to Solang Valley - 3 km Trek (Drive back to Manali) Today, we will hike back down to Solang Valley village and board our vehicles for the drive back to Manali. The trip ends here.

Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total amount is payable to secure a place in the expedition. This needs to be prior 15 days of the scheduled departure date.
Balance 
The balance of 75% amount is payable before starting of the expedition.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
An expedition member may cancel his/her participation on the following basis:
Cancellation prior to 30 days from start of the expedition get 95% refund.
Cancellation between 29 days and 11 days to the start of the trip get 60% refund.
Cancellation less than 10 days to the start of the trip No refund.

Trip Cancellation Insurance
Team members should take out private insurance if they wish to be covered against cancellation due to medical or personal reasons.
This is called trip cancellation insurance and can be obtained from your travel agent.
