Summary[edit]

Description
English: Nautilus shells from near the island of Panglao in the Philippines and those from the southern Camotes Sea east of Cebu have the same unusual colour variations - slightly purplish in colour and some, rarely, display dramatic purple lines. This specimen is certainly one of the most perfect ever seen. The pure white colour of the body chamber and the superb pastel purple lines make it a true museum piece to be treasured. It was featured in the book NAUTILUS: Beautiful Survivor by Wolfgang Grulke published in 2016.
