Sachin Tendulkar has returned to the cricket field with the second edition of the Road Safety World Series. The legendary cricketer of his era is the captain of the Indian Legends.

The Tendulkar-led team won the first edition of the league in 2021. Ex-Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif has revealed an untold story about Sachin’s bizarre superstition. Kaif said no one should say all the best to him before a match.

“All the best. Never say it to him. He will avoid you and not look towards you. He feels an added pressure when these words are said to him.” Kaif told Cricket Country in a video on their social media accounts.

Kaif, who played in the inaugural edition, is not active this time in the tournament. Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Yusuf Pathan, and Irfan Pathan are part of the Road Safety World Series.

Shane Watson, Ross Taylor, Brett Lee, Jonty Rhodes, Tilakaratne Dilshan, and Sanath Jayasuriya are some of the big overseas players competing in the event.

The tournament is an eight-team competition with all teams set to play each other at least once.
