Shri Krishna Janmbhumi is the most important religious place in Mathura as it is the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Lord Krishna’s parents Mata Devki and Vasudeva were captured here by Lord Krishna’s uncle, demon King Kans. This place houses the same prison where Lord Krishna took birth and several temples dedicated to Lord Krishna. Dwarkadheesh Temple
