(NewsNation) — Monica Lewinsky is hoping to encourage voters to turn out by partnering with fashion brand Reformation for a fashion line and ad campaign.

Now 50, Lewinsky has previously used her notoriety to promote anti-bullying causes after being vilified for her affair with President Bill Clinton when she was a White House intern.

This latest campaign tackles a different issue, voter frustration and apathy, as voters have expressed a lack of enthusiasm for a rematch between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump.

The clothing line features workplace attire, including dresses, separates and a leather trench coat. The “You’ve Got the Power” campaign also includes information on voting and a way for shoppers to register to vote.

Lewinsky is using the collaboration to remind people that voting is how to make their voice heard in a democracy.

Voter turnout could be a critical factor in the election, especially if young voters hit the polls. The youth vote was credited with holding off a predicted red wave in the 2022 midterm election, but young voters may not be as enthusiastic with the choices in November. While the 2020 presidential election had the highest turnout since 1960 but it’s not clear if 2024 will spark the same enthusiasm.
