Muse India has announced the Indian cinematic release of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bond anime film. The film will release on May 26, 2023 in the country.

That Time I Got Reincarnated As a Slime is based on the light novel series written by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah. It first aired in 2018. The story is about Satoru Mikami, a 37-year-old man who is reincarnated in a fantasy world as a slime with unique powers.

The Scarlet Bond film, which is produced by animation studio 8bit, continues the story from the anime's second season, which finished airing in September 2021.

What is That Time I Got Reincarnated As a Slime the Movie: Scarlet Bond about?

The film follows the story of Rimuru Tempest, a slime who has evolved into a demon lord, and their friends who established the Jura Tempest Federation, a land of monsters. In the small country of Raja, a conspiracy has been brewing around the queen's mysterious power. Suddenly, Hiiro, a Survivor of the Ogres, appears in front of Rimuru and their friends, reuniting them with a man who used to be Benimaru's brother. The story revolves around the severed scarlet bonds, which now become the guiding light for a new fight.
