Amitabh Bachchan reveals he was hospitalised for 25 days due to Covid-19: ‘I was almost admitted to the ICU’

Bachchan shared about his Covid-19 journey on the quiz show after a contestant shared that he was hospitalised for 33 days and how he lost both his grandparents to Covid-19.

Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan contracted the Covid-19 virus around the same time and the duo was admitted to the hospital together as well.

Big B also opened up about how he started looking at his son Abhishek as his friend now. He shared, “I consider Abhishek my friend. As per an old saying, when the son wears the father’s shoes, they become friends and we share the same size. So, all my shoes are now taken by Abhishek sahab because it fits him well. I can’t talk to any other family member like I can with Abhishek. And what I believe is that it’s the same with him too. We talk to each other freely and frankly. If either of us are in a problem and are stuck somewhere, we talk it out. This is how our bond is.”
