Shilpa Shetty claims her restaurant Bastian paid ‘highest GST’ last year: ‘Got more calls for bookings than for work’

Shilpa spoke about the vibe of the restaurant, and said, “What Bastian has become and how people love Bastian – is incredible. Just to be able to cater to three generations and create that whole vibe of celebration is such a compliment for us as owners.” Many social media gurus have been trying to decode the exact amount of money that Bastian makes but Shilpa discarded their speculation and said that they are all underestimating the restaurant’s true revenue. She also added that they were the highest payers of GST in the hospitality industry in the last financial year. “They’re all wrong, and their numbers are totally wrong. We’re making much more than that (laughs). Last time we paid the highest GST for the hospitality. My managers tell me they get more calls to book seats in Bastian than for my work,” she said.

Shilpa joined the company in 2019 and currently, they have two restaurants in Mumbai – Worli and Bandra. They have another restaurant named Bizza in Mumbai.
