beach

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: District Collector Geromic George has declared a ban on entry to all beaches due to heavy rains in the district. The ban will continue until further notice. Today, all educational institutions including professional colleges and central schools in the district are closed.

Meanwhile, the Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services(INCOIS) said that there is a possibility of high waves of 0.5 to 2.0 meters along

the Kerala coast till 11.30 tonight. Fishermen and coastal residents should exercise caution. As the rough seas are likely to intensify, stay away from the

The India Meteorological Department has issued a warning that there is a possibility of rain with thunder and strong winds at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour at isolated places in the state till tomorrow.
