Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia will no longer be a part of the next season of the reality show ‘Roadies’. Earlier this month, Rannvijay Singha, another prominent face on the show, announced that he is leaving the adventure show.
Dhupia in an interview with Pinkvilla announced that she will not be a part of ‘Roadies’ this year.
“This year, I am not going to be a part of Roadies either. More than me, it’s just heartbreaking to see Rannvijay not being a part of it, and obviously reasons are best known to him and to the network,” the 41-year-old actress was quoted as saying by the entertainment portal.
When asked about the reason behind her decision, the former Femina Miss India said, “reasons best known to me and the network”.
After Rannjvijay’s exit, Dhupia had said that his departure from the show was very emotional for her. The actress said that she used to watch the show because of Rannvijay.
Actor-philanthropist Sonu Sood has been announced as the new judge of Roadies after Rannvijay’s exit. “A new adventure begins in my life with Roadies, this journey is going to be one of it's kind!” wrote Sood on his Instagram account.
On the work front, Dhupia will be next seen in the thriller ‘A Thursday’ starring Yami Gautam. The film shows Dhupia as a pregnant cop.
The ‘Qayamat’ actress is being lauded for playing the cop in film-maker Behzad Khambata’s film. The actress told mediapersons that she was not expecting a baby when she took up the role. By the time the film started rolling she got pregnant with her son. However, Khambata changed the script for her.
