Hansika Motwani is engaged, actor shares pictures from proposal in Paris

Actor Hansika Motwani has announced her engagement to businessman Sohael Kathuriya with photographs of the wedding proposal in Paris.

Hansika, best known for her work in ' Koi... Mil Gaya', 'Maha', and 'Romeo Juliet', took to Instagram to share a series of pictures of her boyfriend Kathuriya proposing to her in front of the Eiffel Tower.

Two of the pictures showed Kathuriya going down on his knee to propose to Hansika with candles and a 'Marry Me' cutout in red around them.

“Now and Forever,” she wrote. Kathuriya commented on the post saying, “I love you my life #NowAndForever.”

Hansika's's friends from the film industry including Varun Dhawan, Anushka Shetty, Esha Gupta, and Karan Tacker commented on the post.

"Congrations Hansika," actor Varun Dhawan wrote.

"ihansika so so so happy for both of you ! Love and happiness now and always jumping with joy," actor Sriya Reddy wrote.

Hansika began her career as a child artiste in Hindi films, including in Hrithik Roshan's “Koi... Mil Gaya”. She then went on to act predominantly in Tamil and Telugu films.

Desamuduru (2007), Kantri (2008) and Maska (2009) in Telugu and Engeyum Kadhal (2011), Velayudham (2011), Oru Kal Oru Kannadi (2012), Singam II (2013) and Aranmanai (2014) were some of her prominent films down south.

There have not been any official announcement regarding their wedding dates, but reports said Hansika Motwani and Sohael Khaturiya will tie the knot in December 2022 in Rajasthan.
