It has a 5-inch, 720p HD screen, a quad core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage (expandable), 2250mAh battery and 8MP rear camera with dual LED flash - on paper, this matches features on most premium smartphones priced above Rs 30,000 from other manufacturers.
Lenovo's modified user interface is fluid and has a short learning curve. The 5-inch display outputs rich colors with sharp details and has good viewing angles. Although the build quality is top-notch , the blocky design of the phone is boring.
Moreover, at 193 grams, the phone is even heavier than the much larger Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (which is 183 grams). Lenovo has cut some obvious corners with the phone by excluding a HDMI port, NFC, Wi-Fi direct connectivity and USB host support - all of which the SIII has.
The 8MP camera is good enough in daylight, but it can't match the quality of the SIII in low light. Battery life was great - over a day and half on average usage that included voice calling, gaming, multimedia usage and constant Wi-FI /data connectivity.
