Great customer service! Lucas was friendly, helpful, and patient while taking my order! I will be returning
Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Mar 7, 2023Previous reviewThe food was fresh, tasty, and had the right amount of spice. I tried the angry Mac and the sliders. I chose medium heat and it was spicy enough for me. The staff was pretty friendly but did not provide much information on the menu. Their main concern was getting people's order to keep the line down which I can understand. They have enough seating and the place was very clean and well stocked. I love that they have honey and Frank's red hot out at every table.

Price. WOW! Way over priced for a fast food restaurant especially in this economy. $13-$16.00 is ridiculous plus $2.50 extra for a drink !!!!! Insane. There's better choices. It takes a long time for the food to be ready as well. Service is ..... don't expect a thank you or eye contact. Smiles out of the question. The cashier also rubbed sauce on my container because I did not tip. I don't tip fast food restaurants and I won't unless they really work for it. A tip is earned NOT entitlement. (I don't tip before I receive my food, ever.)
I won't be back. Good luck with all that.

Everyone loves this place so I decided to try it out. I even tried it twice, and I still think Hot Boys is better.
Combo #1: two sliders and fries
Sliders might be an understatement, these are definitely full sandos. Comes with slaw and a long piece of chicken to the spiciness level of your choice. I went with Medium. It wasn't spicy for me, but I'm usually good with spicy. The fries were pretty good, especially with the sauce that comes with it.
Combo #4: two tenders with rice
The rice was buttery, which is not what I wanted or expected, but I guess they didn't want plain white rice on the menu.
Loaded fries
It was ok...too pickle heavy, and the slaw just made everything real soggy. I got this one at the Hot level (which also has to come with a ghost pepper warning), but the spice was cut by the slaw. Definitely not worth it imo, just get the guap fries from Hot Boyz.
The bathroom kinda sucked. Two stalls in the women's restroom, one ran out of toilet seat covers, the other one didn't even have the holder for toilet seat covers, so they were just on the floor. When you rip the paper towels out of the dispenser, the dispenser itself swings outwards, away from the wall.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 1942494Feb 10, 2024
The best thing about Angry Chickz may just be their fries...
Food: ordered two chicken strips and fries. Ordered the medium spice level after the cashier dissuaded me from getting the level above it. She said the level I initially wanted is made with ghost pepper and can't be exchanged if I don't like. I went with her suggestion and was disappointed. The chicken had barely any spice to it and the worst part was the chicken wasn't crunchy. I've never had soft fried chicken before... the tenders came on a piece
Of white bread which seemed super random. I literally threw it away. Now the fries however were bomb.
I ordered to go so didn't sit and mingle at all.
Overall I would only come back for fries. I just didn't like the texture of the chicken to try it again at a higher spice level.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

My husband and I came for lunch!
Our first impression was horrible the worker Bridget c was absolutely so rude. We were not the only ones complaining to her then we sat and waited for food for a while because she had she had our name. Don't know that we would be back.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - 9105146Aug 17, 2023
My family and I have been here two times. The "Country" has no spice and the "Mild" has a cayenne powder flavor profile in the spice. The Hangry Fix comes with 1 chicken strip but TONS of rice - we split the mac & cheese / cole slaw / rice up between 3 people and just ordered a few extra chicken strips on the side for the other people. The chicken is good quality but the crust is not as crispy as other chains like Raising Cane's or Popeye's.
My husband got the combo # 3 which has a chicken strip, fries, slider, and a thick sliced piece of bread. The bread is thick like Texas toast, but it doesn't have any garlic butter or anything on it. The fries were good too but nothing amazing enough to jelly my jam.
We went on a weekday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. Service was good - they were polite and acknowledged my husband immediately. They got crackin on the order right away too.
We all definitely liked it and will come back when we're in the mood for something spicy. I just wish they had true Texas toast with garlic butter spread!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 9, 2023Updated review
This place has been our favorite from the time it's opened we always go for Combo #1 (mild) along with a side of tender (mild). We are obsessed with their secret sauce!!!
So far we have tried many places but nothing comes closer to their moist , crispy, flavorful tender chicken.
This time I wanted to try their Angry Mac being craving for Mac & Cheese for along time....it's been over 5 yrs since I had Mac & Cheese....so thought it's about time!!!
It comes with 2 chopped tenders with fries , Mac & Cheese & secret sauce for -$13. It's a nice generous portion to share or if ur crazy hungry u can satisfy ur hunger with the whole bowl too... wish I was able to like in my 20's....
I took first bite & I was hooked ....silky smooth & gooey perfect seasoning & went very well with the fries & chicken tenders... amazing!!! Can't wait to have it again maybe I will wait for winter it would be perfect....
Since I can't eat whole bowl I had only one fourth & kept remaining for later....
I also ordered combo #2 - two hot chicken tenders with white bread , pickles & fries with seasoning- I opted for mild ...
Again very juicy tenders & perfect seasoning .
As always the quality & service was amazing. Our go to spot for tenders & fries .... & now Mac & Cheese too !!!Helpful 6Thanks 1Love this 8Oh no 0Feb 26, 2023Previous reviewWanted to know what's the buzz all about for the New Kid In the Block....
Finally we got the chance to try it out today ....wanted to wait for few days since they are very popular right now... extremely busy place.
There was a fair amount of crowd inside as well as a big line for ordering outside the restaurant but the lines kept moving fast... since the weather was very cold & windy it helped....
As we entered there were a few counter open for ordering menu is very small so we decided quickly for Combo #1 which comes with 2 sliders & fries . No soda included.
While waiting for our order saw few people choose to eat there itself after getting their order... maybe next time we will do the same.
I really liked couple of things here -
Even though there was a huge line still it was managed very well didn't had to wait too long to order.
As soon as ur no & name is called they double check the receipt order just to be sure... I liked that very much ... even though it was a mad rush they took time to check each & every order before delivering the food for every customer ...
The staff was managing the order & crowd very well.
As per the sandwich goes - I thought we could have shared the order since it had 2 sliders... we took 1 mild & 1 medium, I was hoping for some heat unfortunately I didn't feel it maybe next time I will go for hot...
Fries was good & the sauce ( don't forget to take it while waiting for ur order which my husband reminded me ) was very nice.
Portion size was too much for us.... - 5314975104Jun 17, 2023
Angry Chickz neither made me angry or happy. I should have just gone to the less angry hallelujah chicken sammy place.
Driving to Brentwood through the Vasco corridor I got hungry, or should I say hAngry. Typed in chicken sandwich and Angry Chickz popped up. So I decided to give them a try.
The location of the restaurant is tucked way in the back of a shopping center. Like wayyyy back behind the Ross store. There is no drive-thru so if you are driving with your shoes and/or pants off, this may not be the ideal place.
I walked in and asked the friendly employee what was popular. I was secretly hoping the workers would be angry and cussing me out like the hotdog place in Chicago... To my surprise, she said (nicely) the Angry Mac bowl. I looked at the bowl that consists of a heap of mac and cheese with chicken and their signature sauce and decided on a hard pass and went with the slider combo (Combo 1). I mean, with all this myocarditis going around, it seemed like the safer choice.
After paying for Combo 1 with a mild hot spicy level (as I get older my anus tells me it doesn't like the burn), which consists of two large fried chicken sliders and fries, I realized it didn't come with a drink. It would have been helpful at an angrily spicy chicken joint to include the drink in the combo or have employees tell customers that drinks are not included in the combo. Like common sense right? I mean they have a waiver if you order their spiciest level. Just include the drink in the combo yo.
So yes, I had to make two transactions. One for the combo and one for the $2.50 fountain drink. The system even asked me to tip for the freaking soda.
Annoying.
So if you get Combo 1 and a drink it will be over $20. Is the chicken good? Yes. But I kind of wished the coleslaw was offered as a side and not put in the sandwich. Bread gets soggy.
However, having tried this Nashville-style hot chicken place once, I don't think I would crave them again.Helpful 5Thanks 1Love this 4Oh no 0 - Dec 4, 2023
Aye here the first time, food was fresh also, I got a couple medium sliders and a "Hot"Nashville Hot chicken sandwich, and it was hot hahaha I like spicy but it was too hot for me to enjoy lol (I Did eat it ) but I would recommend the medium haha. I also got the angry Mac bowl hot, yeah I learned my lesson haha never get the hot lol but it was good. I love the music they play in here too, can enjoy it while you are eating your food. Sometimes it's gets real busy but the staff works efficiently to get the orders out quickly.

Ah, Angry Chickz. Always getting the order right, always hitting the spot, always leave me wanting more. I ordered the extra hot sandwich and chicken strip. Tasty every time. I think my favorite aspect of the place is the absolutely amazing sauce for you to dip your sandwich and fries in. The extra hot flavor is very spicy and the perfect amount for this heat seeking food thrillers out there.
Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1May 16, 2023Previous reviewI've had chicken sandwiches at many restaurants and almost every fast food joint. This is top-tier. The are prepared very simply but man do they hit the spot. They only have about 6 chicken flavors to choose from but it should still be enough please most people's taste preferences. I got the Extra Hot flavor and it was good but boy howdy it had some heat to it!!! Can't imagine how intense the Angry sauce is. Only con I would say is it takes a little long for the food to be ready, but that's mostly because its a very lively and popular place! Also, the Angry Chicks special sauce and fries are AMAZING. An absolute MUST HAVE when you go!
