It’s a hidden star, also known as the Asian Sea Bass and Bhetki-Daangri. One of Pakistan’s most delicious fish is the barramundi-Bhetki (Daangri). It is also well-known in other countries and may be found on the menus of premier restaurants all around the world. Barramundi produces appealing, boned-out fillets that can be served whole or cutlets. The huge flakes give generous quantities, and the solid texture makes it an easy fish to prepare.

Size:
The size ranges from 2 to 5 kilogram per fish.

Flavor:
The meat of bekti or barramundi is pearly pink when raw and white once cooked. It has a sweet, buttery taste profile and solid meat with big, juicy flakes. The flesh contains only a few big and easily removed bones. Smaller Barramundi have a milder flavor than bigger Barramundi. The skin is also tasty and crisps up nicely when cooked.
