Immortality of Parshuram
Parshuram is a well-known character in Hindu mythology, revered as one of the seven immortals or Chiranjeevis. He is the sixth avatar or incarnation of Lord Vishnu, the preserver of the universe. In retaliation, Karna shot an arrow at Parshuram, which pierced his toe. But despite the injury, Parshuram did not die, and instead cursed Karna for his treacherous act.
