“Extreme poverty anywhere is a threat to human security everywhere.” Kofi Annan”

Poverty is the condition where basic needs of human like food, clothing, shelter and education are not available. A child of poor family is not able to get education due to lack of resources. Due to this the rate of child labor increasing on daily basis.

A poor person is not able to get enough food to fulfill his family needs and due to this they face health issues. An unhealthy person is not able to perform their responsibilities.

Poverty is the root cause of many problems like crime, diseases, pollution, child rape, smuggling, corruption, political instability and lack of education and many others. Even people don’t have clothes and shelters.

Pakistan facing many issues and poverty is one of them. Pakistan two third of population lives in villages and they depend on agriculture. Most of the people living in rural areas facing the lack of basic needs. Poverty is man-made. Unemployment is a major cause of poverty. We can reduce poverty by development of infrastructure and agriculture sector and provide more facilities to investors to decrease the poverty. Government should take action to remove poverty from Pakistan on permanent basis.
