The Nokia 2600 Classic is a prepaid phone with some really regular features. It features CSTN 65,000 colors display with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels and a simple VGA camera. The candy-bar has a 32 MB internal memory that is not expandable and can store photos, small videos and music, however Java applications can also be installed and used with the phone. The Nokia 2600 Classic complements the range Nokia recently put to the market with its 6500 Classic, 6120 Classic and 3500 Classic.

Based upon the network support (support for GSM 900 and GSM 1800 networks) one could expect the dualband Nokia 2600 Classic to be a phone for the European market. On the other hand, triple- or even quad-band devices already represent a lot of prepaid devices. In any case since this phone is featured on a Chinese site, it may be safe to conclude that it’s heading for the Asian market for now. No word on pricing.
