Pudina Pani: Mint has many qualities inside itself. The demand for mint increases a lot in summer, as it provides coolness. Many types of dishes can be made from mint. By the way, mint chutney is eaten a lot in the summer season. But many people like its water too. It is very tasty to drink mint water. You can also drink mint water to beat the heat.

In fact, regular intake of mint water in the summer season helps in maintaining the body temperature as well as provides relief in stomach related problems. Along with this, drinking mint water also improves digestion. People who have immunity week, they should also consume mint water regularly. Let us tell you that mint water is also beneficial for the skin.

You must have seen that in summers, vendors selling Jaljeera and Pudina water stand on the roadside. But many times they do not prepare the water very cleanly, in such a situation, drinking it spoils the health. If you also like mint water, then let’s know how to make mint water.

Pudina Water: Ingredients

  • Mint – 1-2 bunches
  • Ginger – 1/2 inch piece
  • Dry mango powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Green chili – 1
  • Tamarind pulp – 1 tsp
  • Pomegranate powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin – 1/4 tsp
  • Black pepper powder – 1-2 pinch
  • Roasted cumin powder – 1 pinch
  • Red chili powder – 1 pinch (optional)
  • Sugar – 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice – 1 tsp
  • Black salt – 1 pinch
  • Plain salt – as per taste

Method

  • To make mint water, first put mint in water and wash it thoroughly.
  • After this, separate the mint leaves by breaking them, and also clean the green coriander well.
  • Now put mint leaves, ginger, tamarind pulp and green chillies in a mixer jar and prepare a paste of all the ingredients.
  • When it grinds well, then filter the mixture with the help of a sieve.
  • Now add 2 glasses of cold water to the filtered mixture and mix it well with the help of a spoon.
  • After this add dried mango powder, black pepper, cumin powder, black salt, cumin, plain salt and mix well.
  • If you want to increase the spiciness in mint water, then add a pinch of red chili powder and mix it.
  • Now it is the turn to give tangy test to mint water, for this add one spoon of lemon juice.
  • After this, keep the mint water in the fridge for half an hour to cool down.
  • If you want to make and drink it quickly, you can also add ice cubes to it.
  • Your mint water is ready, now serve it in a serving glass and add 1-2 ice cubes.
