How to make classic Pyaz Paratha at home

When you're confused about what to eat for breakfast, try this classic Pyaz Paratha. Made with minimal spices, this stuffed paratha is filling and delicious too. Try it.

​Ingredients required​

2 onions, salt to taste, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 2 tbsp coriander leaves, 1/2 tsp black salt, 1/2 tsp carom seeds, 2 cups wheat flour, oil for cooking, and 1/2 cup water.

​Step 1​

Peel and chop the onions and transfer them to a mixing bowl.

To this, add all the spices and mix well.

Knead a soft dough using flour and water.

​Step 4​

Divide the dough into 8 equal halves and fill each ball with 1.2 tsp of the onion mixture.

​Step 5​

Roll out parathas using a rolling pin and flour dust.

Heat a pan and cook the parathas on both sides using enough oil.
