​Ingredients required

6 medium-sized potatoes, 2 onion, 4 green chilli, 4 tbsp coriander leaves, 2 tsp mustard oil, salt to taste, 1 tsp garam masala, 2 tsp chaat masala, 1 tsp black salt, 1 tsp dry mango powder, 2 cups wheat flour, and oil/ghee for cooking.

​Step 1

Pressure cook potatoes for 3-4 whistles. Allow them to cool, then peel off the skin, mash and set aside.

Step 2

In a pan, add oil, once hot enough add chopped onion and green chilli. Allow them to splutter.

Cook them for 2-3 minutes and then add garam masala, chaat masala, black salt, salt, and dry mango powder.

Next, add the mashed potatoes and mix well.

Continue to cook for 4-6 minutes and add coriander leaves.

Knead a soft dough using flour and enough water.

Roll small balls of dough, stuff them with 2 tablespoons of the potato mixture, and seal them.

Roll out thin and round parathas. On a non-stick tawa, use enough oil to cook evenly. Serve hot with raita and pickle.
