Today (November 6) at 8am, the Venerable Choje Lama and the Thrangu Sangha gave His Holiness the 43rd Sakya Trizin Gyana Vajra Rinpoche, Her Eminence Dagmo Sonam Palkyi, and their monastics a warm send off as they departed from Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery, Namo Buddha.

At 8.30am, the former king and prince of Nepal visited Namo Buddha and paid respects to Kyabje Rinpoche’s cremation stupa.

After the cremation ceremony of the physical remains of Kyabje Yongzin Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche, from the afternoon of November 4 till today, the Venerable Lodro Nyima Rinpoche, Khenpo Jigme, and Drupon Lama Sherab Tendar led the tulkus, khenpos, and lamas to perform the Mind Practice sadhana before the cremation stupa for the past three days.

Likewise, the Thrangu Sangha has been taking turns to perform Thrangu Rinpoche’s guru yoga practice, recite “Calling the Guru from Afar” and swift return prayers before the cremation stupa throughout the night for the past three days.
