Anil Kapoor recalls working with Laxmikant Berde in Hamaal De Dhamaal, sends fans into nostalgia

On the occasion of Marathi Bhasha Diwas, Anil Kapoor remembered his dear friend and late actor Laxmikant Berde. He took to Twitter to share an old picture with Laxmikant and sent the fans on a nostalgia ride.
"Wishing every one in Maharashtra a very happy Marathi Bhasha Diwas. Also remembering my only Marathi movie “Hamaal De Dhamaal”, it was an honour working in this film which happens to be one of the best performances of my dear friend Laxmikant Berde whom we miss even today," Anil tweeted.

Fans hailed Laxmikant as one of the greatest actors of all time and remembered his great contribution to the Indian cinema.

"Laxmikant Berde was a Wonderful actor, his comic timing was accurate, funny & entertaining. I loved his character in Maine pyaar Kiya & Marathi movie Zapatlela. Gone too soon. Laxmikant Berde is pride of Maharashtra," one Twitter user wrote.

Another Twitter user commented, "Most Beloved Sir i really appreciate your sweet memories of your old films and the Co stars... these days who will spend d time to mention a name or the recollects the oldest days..... your amazing person too. May God bless you and your family and friends."

Anil is currently seen as as Roper in the Indian adaptation of The Night Manager where Aditya Roy Kapur is seen as Pine. The show also stars Sobhita Dhulipala in a prominent role.
