Richa Chadha recalls staff throwing her stuff on the sets of 'Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!' as she talks about facing discrimination in the industry

Richa Chadha has very successfully created a niche for herself in the industry with her choices of films and performances. However, there were also times when the actress faced discrimination in the industry.
Recalling an incident, Richa shared that she has faced discrimination several times. In fact, in her first film, there was an incident that made her feel really bad.The actress said that she had come straight from college to do a scene in 'Oye Lucky Lucky Oye', and she had 103-104 fever. Initially, she was told that someone is going to come late, so till then she can use a particular vanity van, and for the whole day, she was supposed to shoot anyway. So she got ready and left, but in the meantime someone came and their staff threw all her stuff.

Elaborating further, she added that most of the items that were discarded belonged to the makeup artist, bearing the brunt of such disrespectful behaviour. According to her, it doesn't happen anymore now because of social media and because everyone has a camera in their phones and people are aware of these things.

'Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!' starred Abhay Deol in the lead role. It also saw Paresh Rawal, Manu Rishi, Manjot Singh and Archana Puran Singh in pivotal roles.
