Bhavana Menon heads home to Thrissur for Onam season

Bhavana Menon had stayed put in Bengaluru all of last year and early 2021 and like most folk, hadn’t been able to travel to her hometown Thrissur during this time. “Mum was alone and I wanted to be with her during her these challenging times. So the moment unlock was announced, I flew home. Naveen came with me and we have been spending time in Thrissur; I intend to stay here for Onam and will return only after the festivities are over,” says the actor.And while there, Bhavana has been ensuring that she meets with all her Malayalam film industry friends. “I haven’t been able to see them in the longest time since I live in Bengaluru and now the pandemic, so this has been an emotional reunion of sorts whenever I meet one of them,” states Bhavana. But for now, she’s enjoying the coastal rains and her mother’s parippu dosa and kovakka fry. “Nothing comes close to what she makes. I miss that when I go back to Bengaluru,” smiles the actor.
