Ravichandran to act in a film based on a rural subject

Actor Ravichandran, who has delivered Superhit films like Putnanja, Halli Meshtru, Annayya, Ramachari, Sipayi and Chikkeyajamanru, which are all set against a rural backdrop, will be acting in another rural subject after a long hiatus. The project will be helmed by S Mahendar who will be teaming up with Crazy Star Ravichandran for the first time in his career.
The director had planned to begin shooting in April and May, which has been postponed due to the pandemic.More details about the film will be revealed in the coming days. Meanwhile, Ravichandran who recently entered social media to connect with his fans, will be soon seen on the silver screen in the periodic drama Kannadiga, directed by Giriraj B M.
Ravichandran will simultaneously also shoot for Drishyam 2, which will be a sequel to the 2014 superhit film Drishyam. He will essay the role of Rajendra Ponnappa. In Kannada, the movie will be directed by P Vasu. Navya Nair, Aarohi Narayan, Unnati, Asha Sharath and Prabhu will be seen in pivotal roles. Actor Pramod Shetty will essay the role of a cop.
