On Rajini’s birthday, fan opens hotel and name it Uzhaippali

Superstar Rajinikanth celebrated his 70^th birthday yesterday and his fans celebrated their Thalaivar’s birthday with much fanfare. While there were music shows featuring the style Mannan’s songs and special film shows, one fan, Veera Babu has gone one step ahead and started a hotel, offering quality food at very low rates. Veera Babu named his hotel Uzhaippali, as a tribute to Rajini’s film with the same name.The hotel apparently serves limited meals at Rs 10 and it is reported that all traditional snacks items are also available. The hotel is in Manappakkam in Chennai and Veera Babu says that his motto is to make food available to the poor at reduced rates without compromising on nutrition and quality. Interestingly, the die-hard fan of Rajinikanth is a doctor by profession and he says he wants to increase the fan base of his Thalaivar as he is all set to enter politics. In addition to several photos of Rajini, the doctor has displayed motivational lines from his films as well at the hotel.
