Wedding shoots might have become the 'in-thing' these days, but not always do we come across pictures that stay with us for long. We came across a wedding photoshoot on Instagram recently and can't help but share it because its beauty lies in its simplicity! Don't believe us, have a look.
The photoshoot features, a South Indian couple, who basically belong to Kerala and have been clicked celebrating their togetherness in the loveliest way ever. What's best is the fact that unlike the usual wedding pictures we come across on a daily basis, which shout out 'bling and colour', these pictures spell subtlity.
The bride and groom, Srijith Vijayamohan and Chithralekha M are dressed to perfection in their respective traditional Keralite wedding attire and their simple style is nothing but beautiful.
Srijith can be seen wearing the classic wedding shirt (with rolled up sleeves) in white along with the traditional white satin mundu or a lungi - a garment worn around the waist in Kerala.
Chithralekha makes for a gorgeous bride in classic handwoven cream coloured kasavu sari with gold border. This sari is considered to be an auspicious attire for women from Kerala and is worn by most of the traditional Malayali brides. The bride's look has been finished with beautiful vintage temple jewellery, a maang tikka and a gajra bun.
The photos canned by Wedding Bells Photography capture the couple walking hand in hand towards the Pariyaram River in Chalakudi and eventually taking a dip in the water.
