Other than that fact, it’s also more hygienic and fun to make it at home.There are 2 ways to go around this, one is without using the machine and the other with the juicer machine. With the machinery, it’s pretty simple, you place the sugarcane in the juicer and it does all of the work.
Although, for the people who don’t have a juicer at home, fret not and check out this easy way to prepare sugarcane juice. This fibrous grass is a juice goldmine, so grab your blender and follow us through these steps to squeeze out your own fresh glass of sugarcane juice.
Ingredients:
Fresh Sugarcanes
Ginger
Lemon Juice
Black Salt
Ice Cubes
Steps:
To prepare this delicious juice, wash the fresh sugarcanes under running water and peel the outer hard layer of it. Using a clean chopping board, chop it up into little pieces.
Transfer these little pieces of cane to a blender and blend it together. Add some water so the blending process is easier, and make sure that it's properly blended. (Ginger is used as an optional ingredient.)
Now, pour this blended sugarcane into a jug through a strainer. (You can also use a muslin cloth to strain the juice)
Squeeze out the juice and press through the strainer or the muslin cloth to extract more juice from the blended fibers.
Use your hands to give one last squeeze by taking the fibers in your hand and pressing till the juice comes out.
Strain the juice once more to take out any of the fibrous extracts that may have been missed. Then, add lemon juice with a pinch of black salt and give it a stir.
Transfer into serving glasses and add ice cubes. Serve the chilled sugarcane juice and enjoy the delicious and refreshing taste!
