How to spend a week in Kerala?

Day 1-Explore Kochi

Kochi in Kerala is a must-visit city, dotted with some amazing attractions. Ernakulam is the modern side of the city, where one can enjoy colours and sights of the city.

Day 2-Explore Fort Kochi

Unlike Ernakulam, Fort Kochi is the historic heart of Kochi, brimming with all the prime attractions. This is where you’ll find Chinese fishing nets and St Francis Church.

Day 3-Head to Munnar

Your Kerala trip won’t be complete without visiting Munnar. The gorgeous hill station is known for its lush-green tea plantations.

Day 4-Spend a day exploring Munnar

Apart from the tea plantations, the hill station is home to the beautiful Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point and Top Station. Besides, one can also go hiking and visit the Eravikulam National Park.

Day 5-Visit Alleppey

Alappuzha (or Alleppey) on the Laccadive Sea is noted for its houseboat cruises along the backwaters. Stay a night in the boathouse and enjoy cruising through canals and lagoons.

Day 6-Explore Alleppey

Do not miss out on visiting the Alappuzha Beach, which is home to the 19th-century Alappuzha Lighthouse. The Mullakkal Temple is also a must-visit here.

Day 7-A trip to Marari

Located close to Alleppey is Marari, which is a quieter and chilled out option for backwater lovers. Stay here in a houseboat, and enjoy some peaceful time with nature.
