The Korean Temple is located in the West Monastic Zone in the Lumbini Sanskritik area. The Temple is one of the tallest monasteries in Lumbini. The structure is built in a Korean style of architecture with colorful paintings on the ceiling. In the courtyard of the temple, visitors can practice meditation and refreshing activities full of monks and pilgrims.

    Dae Sung Shakya Sa, popularly known as the Korean Temple, is a Buddhist Monastery in Lumbini. The impressive structure is built in a Korean style of architecture and has colourful murals on the ceiling. It even offers community sleeping area as well as three meals a day to visitors for a few days at a minimal cost of NOR 500 per day. Meditating in the courtyard full of monks and pilgrims is a peaceful and refreshing experience.

     

    Entrance Fees and Restrictions

    The temple also offers accommodation and meals for visitors with a minimum cost of NRs. 500 per day. There is no restriction for visitors to the temple.

    It takes nearly 30 minutes by drive from Bhairahawa Airport to reach Lumbini and then 5-10 minutes by walk to reach the Temple.
