What is BRT?

BRT (or Bus Rapid Transit) is a high-capacity bus service that will deliver fast and efficient service and will feature:

Longer hours of service and more frequent buses.
Dedicated lanes for buses to prevent traffic delays.
Buses that receive longer green lights at signals to stay on schedule.
Fare payment at station and not on buses, to eliminate wait times.
Enhanced stations with updated bus arrival displays, Wi-Fi, and raised platforms for easy boarding that is handicap accessible.
Bigger custom buses that will hold more passengers, with lower floors for easy loading, bike racks for storage, and more.
