SREC students invent Bio SIM to monitor fluid levels

Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College students of biomedical engineering developed a  product -Bio SIM, a smart monitoring system, to continuously monitor the administration of IV fluids to patients in different wards and gives alerts in the form of a buzzer,  to the nurse station and also through the mobile app,  helping remote monitoring when the fluid  goes down below a critical  level. 
This product is being launched at Sri Ramakrishna Hospital by the Managing Trustee Sri. D. Lakshminarayanaswamy, SNR Sons Charitable Trust in the presence of Sri. C V. Ramkumar, Chief Executive Officer, Dr. P. Sukumar, the Dean of the hospital, Dr. P.Ramkumar, Head ICU, Dr. S. Alagappan RMO, Dr. J. Karpagam , Head of Nursing, Mrs. Poornima, Chief of Operations. Dr. N.R. Alamelu, Principal, Mr. M. Ganesh, Advisor, Industry Connect and Innovation, Dr. V. Ramamurthy, Head, Biomedical Engineering congratulated the students. 
The innovation and incubation team said that this product will be commercialized for use by the various hospitals through one of its incubateesTectzo Solutions  in the campus.
