About 340 communications in three concurrent sessions will be presented on the most recent research in audiological and medical diagnosis and intervention for infants with hearing loss. Both basic scientific advances and clinical studies will be discussed.

About 200 poster presentation and 140 oral communications have made the scientific session a great success.

As a special component of the NHS conference, the Bill Daniels Center for Children's Hearing & Kelley Family/Schlessman Family Scottish Rite Masons Endowed Chair in Childhood Language Disorders, The Children's Hospital Denver Colorado USA is sponsoring a "Guidelines Development Conference on Identification and Managment of Children with Auditory Neuropathy." An unprecedented list of outstanding speakers at the Guidelines Development Conference include: Yvonne Sininger (USA), Arnold Starr (USA), Christine Petit (France), Gary Rance (Australia), Barbara Cone-Wesson (USA), Patricia Roush (USA), Jon Shallop (USA), Charles Berlin (USA), and Kai Uus (United Kingdom).
