Overview

Asimo was always a lazy young man. He always dreamt of finding buried treasures that the caribs and arawaks indians buried some where on the island of Fair Helen. One day while he was plaughing the land under the hot sun he started to curse the soil. Soon thereafter he went under a mango tree to escape the mid afternoon heat. While he laid under the shade of the mango tree a parrot sitting on a brunch of the tree told him that if he did him a favor that he would tell him how he could get rich far beyond the measly buried treasure. Soon he realized what he bargained for was far more than he wanted. Things are not always what it seems. So his he had to go on a long journey.

About the Author

Hyacinth Daniel was born in 1970 at the Victoria Hospital in Castries St. Lucia, an island in the West Indies. He grew up with his grandmother Leonie Thomas in the small rural district of Laguerre across the Atlantic Ocean from the Americas.

He adopted the pen name E.H. Samoth in momory of his grand mother Leonie Thomas.

At the time Samoth was growing up in rural La Guerre, television and videos were not widespread, and one of the main means of entertainment was storytelling especially at wakes. So he absorbed the art of storytelling from the elders quite early in life.

After graduating form Sir Arthur Lewis Community College, the author worked in the tourist industry for a while. After leaving the tourist industry, he migrated to New York to pursue his passion for writing books and music.
