The project Natural Recall asked designers from around the world to explore the connection of man and plant, to research the inner workings between the Animal and the Vegetable world.

UBUNTU
Ubuntu is an ancient Ngunu Bantu word meaning ‘humanity to others’. It also means ‘I am what I am because of who we all are’ (or as conveyed in the poster: ‘I am, because we are’). The usual meaning taken from the word is: “the belief in a universal bond of shar- ing that connects all humanity”. In my Natural Recall artwork I have taken this belief deeper by connecting it with our affinity with nature; we are one. Our DNA is one. There is no differentiation between humanity and nature. We are nature.
