Why Megan Fox Skipped the 2024 Met Gala

After a glorious Met Gala debut in 2021, fans have been calling for Megan Fox’s return to the red carpet. But Fox hasn’t returned to the prestigious fashion event since then, and she sadly didn’t partake in this year’s festivities.

Back in 2021, Fox looked breathtaking in a red, long-sleeve, lace-up, sequin embellished gown by Dundas with a high leg slit and a train. She added red peep-toe, stiletto heels, revealing her matching scarlet pedicure. Her hair was styled with blunt baby bangs and a long braid that fell down to her waist. She completed her look with a bright red lip and dramatic statement earrings.

Fox and MGK might have stepped back from wedding planning, but the couple is still reportedly together and working things through.

According to Entertainment Tonight, a source said, “They are continuing to go to therapy, be fully transparent with each other about their feelings, and have consistent communication. They have dealt with some trust issues, but are both making a continual effort to stay committed to their mutual end goal of being together forever. They are also respecting each other’s space when needed, which is key for them during this time.”

The insider added, “Overall, they’re doing their best to make things work and keeping their kids in mind as well. They are trying to keep their relationship issues as private as possible and protect their children from any drama or outside noise.”
