The show was held to inform the public of the Perches West Funeral Home's Funeral Museum. Salvador Perches said his family has been in the funeral business since 1958 and have acquired a vast collection of old funeral equipment. "Our 60th anniversary was coming up, and I thought, "Wow!" What a great thing to do open for celebration of that." The museum that was built in what was a six-car garage has, as its centerpiece, an 1850 horse-drawn hearse he found in Pennsylvania. "Don't want to talk about how much it cost or how much it cost to get it here." he said. The museum is free to the public.
