The coronavirus outbreak has brought the entire world to a halt. Thousands are losing their lives, the economy has hit rock bottom and people are forced to be locked up in their homes to prevent the spread of the deadly virus. At such difficult times, it is important that everyone chips in to help. Actor Ayesha Takia and her husband Farhan Azmi are doing their bit too. Ayesha's partner confirmed this development to a news portal saying, "Yes, we have given our Gulf Hotel for quarantine to the BMC. We are together during this time of crisis. We have handed over our hotel to BMC and the Mumbai Police as the quarantine centre. Ours is a small hotel."
It was Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan, who started this trend by offering their four-storey personal office space to be used as a quarantine facility for COVID- 19 patients.
Another actor to have extended his support is Sonu Sood. He offered his Juhu hotel for the healthcare workers including doctors, nurses and the paramedical staff to fight the pandemic.
Salman Khan too helped out by providing meals and money to 25,000 daily wage earners. The actor has also extended his support to 50 female ground workers from Malegoan. Akshay Kumar donated a whopping Rs 25 crore to PM Cares Fund.
This goes on to prove that our reel life heroes are true heroes in real life as well!
