Adah Sharma gave a huge blockbuster in the form of The Kerala Story earlier this year. It made over Rs 241 crore at the box-office. While speaking to Hindustan Times, the actress was speaking about her film and how certain films are labeled as propaganda. She also refused to comment on Vivek Agnihotri’s The Vaccine War.
She said, “After The Kerala Story, I have learnt that one should not loosely speak about a film without watching the entire film. I remember when The Kerala story was released, there was a teaser released before it. A lot of people decided what the whole film was about after seeing those seconds of teaser. They had opinions about it.”
On The Vaccine War
My only thing was (to people)…at least watch the film and then say something about it. Of course, you can say what you want, it’s a free nation but what if someone watches the poster of Kofuku and says this is about two people who are trying to fly….Till I watch the film, I won’t comment.
In an exclusive interview with Firstpost, Adah Sharma revealed about the success of her film, “My life has always been lovely, I live at a nice place and live with nice people. I hope I can continue being a better person. This was magical since it had never happened with anyone before; a female-centric film doing so well. I feel really lovely and blessed.”
On The Vaccine War , Agnihotri told Firstpost, “We were going for the shoot of The Kashmir Files and had to cancel everything two days before, that was the big challenge. The research for The Vaccine War wasn’t a big challenge because we weren’t doing much of physical work and Zoom was there, the digital methods were available to us. Once the lockdown was over, the restrictions were over, we started traveling to Delhi, Pune, visiting labs and meeting scientists. Then I immersed myself completely into the research.”
