Warm temperatures and sunshine all year make Tenerife a popular holiday choice for families. Many resorts also offer services like babysitting and kids’ clubs so adults can enjoy some peace and quiet in the spas or by the pool ─ or date night in a fancy restaurant come the evenings. Most also provide evening entertainment.

Watersports and general sports facilities like tennis courts and nearby golf courses provide hours of family fun in spots like Europe Villa Cortés, and multiple pools are perfect for splashing about in all day. Fun filled party palaces like the Hard Rock Hotel are particularly popular with teens and older children, while the Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora has the largest saltwater infinity pool in Europe that provides endless entertainment for all ages.

With its iconic pink facade, families appreciate The Ritz-Carlton Abama for its huge grounds that lend a sense of space ─ plus a sandy beach which you can reach by funicular.

Here’s our pick of the best family hotels in Tenerife that the kids will love as much as you.
