Adah Sharma was spotted outside the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput‘s residence last year; who lived there till his death in 2020. She has been asked often since then if she would be interested in buying the sea-faced apartment. Adah has now said she would rather talk about this when the moment is right and guarding her privacy. Sushant passed away on June 14, 2020, purportedly from suicide.

When asked about purchasing the apartment during an interview with Siddharth Kanan, Adah Sharma said, “For now, I would just like to say that I live in everyone’s hearts. There is a right time to speak. When I had gone to see the place, I got overwhelmed with the media attention. I am a private person. I love being in the public eye for my movies but I have always been private. I guard my privacy.”

The ‘Kerala Story‘ actor continued to express her feelings, expressing her dissatisfaction with the disparaging remarks that have been making the rounds about the sale of Sushant Singh Rajput’s flat. Adah Sharma stated that it is improper to criticize the passing of a living person, particularly someone like Sushant who made such important contributions to the film industry. She made it clear that she respected him and that she wanted to keep his legacy alive by avoiding offensive conversations.

According to reports, Sushant paid Rs 4.5 lakh a month for the flat rental in December 2019. With three bedrooms on the upper story and a large hall extending over the lower floor, this duplex occupies more than 3,600 square feet.

TellyChakkar stated in a report in August 2023 that it had gotten in touch with Adah’s team and had confirmation that the story was accurate, following a paparazzo’s post claiming that the ‘Sunflower 2‘ actor was purchasing the apartment at Mont Blanc Apartments where Sushant had previously resided.

On the work front, Adah Sharma was last seen in Bastar: The Naxal Story. The Naxal insurgency in the Bastar area of Chhattisgarh is the basis for the movie. Sudipto Sen is the director of the film in which Adah Sharma plays an IPS officer. Producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah is behind it. The trio earlier collaborated for the box office hit ‘The Kerala Story.’ The crowd was quite appreciative of her performance in Sunflower Season 2. Ranvir Shorey and Sunil Grover both played significant parts in the series.
