WHAT! Bhavana’s beau Naveen’s family will not attend the wedding?

Lovebirds Bhavana and Naveen got engaged on March 9 in a private ceremony.

Bhavana and Naveen’s engagement have become the hottest topic of the town. Celebs and fans have been congratulating the couple ever since they heard the good news and everyone are just waiting to know the wedding date. Bhavana speaking to a leading Malayalam daily has confirmed that she would be getting hitched this year but she didn’t reveal the date. Earlier this year her mother Pushpa said that when the actress’ father (G. Balachandran) was alive, he had already fixed her marriage. Bhavana’s mother while speaking to a leading daily revealed why Naveen’s family will not the wedding ceremony. The actress’ mom revealed, “Both parties want a simple wedding. It might not be easy for Naveen’s entire family to come over here so they might be attending the reception. Also, she has films to complete before planning the wedding,” reports TOI. It was in the year 2012 when Malayalam actress Bhavana and Kannada producer Naveen met each other on the sets of ‘Romeo’. Rumours of the duo seeing each other sparked instantly but they kept denying. It was after two years when Bhavana admitted that she is dating someone but never revealed the name. The actress was clear that she would divulge the details only at the time of marriage. About Bhavana’s engagement her mother Pushpa was further quoted saying, “They had plans to marry but Bhavana just kept evading when it would happen. Finally I made her fix the engagement.” On the work front, Bhavana would soon be seen in ‘Honey Bee 2: Celebrations’ in which she is sharing screen space with Asif Ali, Baburaj, Sreenath Bhasi and Balu Varghese. It is scheduled to release on March 23.
