Bal Thackeray Death Anniversary: Uddhav or Raj Thackeray who is the next successor?

Bal Keshav Thackeray one of the main pillars of politics and the founder of Shiv Sena party. He played the main role in moulding the Maharashtra’s politics and is still the King of several hearts. He was regarded as the central point of controversies.

After his sad demise, the question which arises is who would be the next roaring tiger to sworn-in? Bal Thackeray started his career as a cartoonist and later became the former of hardcore Maharashtrian party, wherein he used to campaign against non-Marathi people. Today is his death anniversary, but still there is a cold war going on between Uddhav and Raj over the legacy.

Uddhav Thackeray – wildlife photographer and the President of Shiv Sena is claiming over his father’s legacy. Raj Thackeray – Chief of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) is continuously appealing and demanding the legacy to be taken forward. In the year 2006, Raj Thackeray broke away from Shiv Sena party and formed his own MNS party. Soon after that Bal Thackeray appointed his son Uddhav Thackeray as the leader of the party it is said that they were closely associated with Bal Thackeray and the common thing which used to bind them together was the political transition over Maharashtra.

Just to save the legacy of Bal Thackeray, Uddhav and Raj have been fighting over the issue. But time has come where both have to put their differences aside and fight for the common cause. Shiv Sena’s destiny was in the hands of Bal Thackeray but now when he is no more who will be the one who can raise the voice amongst the nation like the tiger did?

Shiv Sainiks would love to see them both joining hands under the common party – Shiv Sena. We are all aware and know what had happened in the elections? Uddhav Thackeray had grabbed 18 seats in the Lok Sabha Elections and after getting separated from BJP they managed 63 MLA’s to fight. It’s true that if Shiv Sena and MNS want to stay in the political race, then they have to reinvent themselves and have to give a bang on.

After Bal Thackeray’s demise people started assuming Raj Thackeray as the next face of Shiv Sena who can lead the party as Bal Thackeray did. Uddhav Thackeray, President of Shiv Sena failed in creating the magic that once Bal Thackeray had on his audiences. But interestingly Raj Thackeray has the power of grasping lot of attention at the time of rallies, but unluckily failed in terms of votes. Let’s see who will be the next successor and who can easily step into his shoes? Uddhav who lacks that charisma to hold his Shiv Sainiks or Raj Thackeray who has the leadership qualities and fiery attitude which can carry forward the name of Bal Thackeray.
