Neha Dhupia reveals she was pregnant when her husband Angad Bedi had Covid-19

Neha Dhupia is celebrating being pregnant with her second child with husband Angad Bedi. The couple today announced the news with their fans on social media. While they were on cloud nine after they got to know about the arrival of their second child, things were not all rosy in the initial months of pregnancy. Neha was pregnant when Angad was diagnosed with Covid-19. The actress said that apart from taking care of herself and their baby, she also had to battle the worry of Angad getting tested positive for coronavirus.
NEHA SAYS SHE WENT THTOUGH A LOT DURING INITIAL MONTHS OF PREGNANCY
Speaking to the Hindustan Times, Neha Dhupia talked about her pregnancy journey. Earlier, she announced her second pregnancy on social media. She revealed that she was pregnant when Angad Bedi tested positive for the novel coronavirus. She said, "Hard is an understatement. It was a lot that we went through. It’s always hard when someone around you gets Covid-19, and harder when you’re pregnant, but Angad was the one who helped me stay positive in that period."
Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi are expecting their second child together. Their daughter, Mehr was born in November 2018.
NEHA DHUPIA SAYS THEY'LL HAVE A CONTROLLED CELEBRATION THIS TIME
The actress revealed that her second pregnancy has been different as she knew the beats of it and had fewer questions. She said, "I always compare it with my first pregnancy. However, the lockdown didn’t make it easier."
She added that the celebration this time is of a different kind where the environment is more controlled as she wants to make sure that she and the baby are fine. She said, "We’ve been treading on with caution a little more this time than before. And mostly staying indoors, making most of the time with Mehr, and gearing her up and the home for the baby."
HOW NEHA DHUPIA AND ANGAD BEDI ANNOUNCED PREGNANCY
Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi announced that they are expecting their second baby soon on social media on Monday (July 19). They shared a beautiful family photo where Neha is seen caressing her baby bump as Angad holds Mehr in his arms. He also places one hand lovingly on Neha's baby bump. Sharing the photo, Neha Dhupia wrote, "Took us 2 days to come with a caption.The best one we could think of was Thank you, God @prasadnaaik #WaheguruMehrKare (sic)."
Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi tied the knot in May 2018. They became parents to Mehr on November 18 in the same year. Neha is due in October this year.
