Witness the beauty of over 1500 bonsai and topiary trees at this enthralling exhibition.

Imagine more than a thousand diverse types of trees showcased in one space, but here's the twist – they're all fascinating, miniature versions!

So, when the buzz about AMC's Bonsai & Topiary Exhibition reached us, there was no question – we had to check it out! And believe us, if you have even a smidgen of love for trees, plants, or simply find joy in the wonders of nature, this show is right up your alley!

What are Bonsai trees?!

Bonsai is a Japanese art form that involves growing small trees or shrubs in containers, carefully pruning and shaping them to create a miniature representation of a mature tree in nature.

Bonsai trees are cultivated to evoke the look and feel of a full-sized tree, but in a much smaller scale. Techniques such as wiring, pruning, and careful attention to the tree's development are employed to achieve the desired aesthetic.

Bonsai from every nook and cranny of the country and beyond

In a first, AMC has pulled off a spectacular feat by putting together an exhibition that boasts more than 1500 bonsai and topiary plants from every nook and cranny of the country and beyond.

These little champs have ages ranging from a cheeky 10 to a wise 200 years, all styled to perfection in a nod to the Zen Garden vibes. Get ready to be wowed, because this exhibition covers an area of around 12,000 square meters – that's a whole lot of green goodness!

Among the showcased trees are Olive, Fycus, Adniyam, Vad, Piplo (sacred fig), Khati Ambli, Nikadevia, Zed plant (Jade), Pipal, Gugal, Legastomiya, and Albizia (Alfijiya), to name a few.

Curious to learn more about the bonsai you're admiring? Look for a QR code beside nearly every plant. Simply scan it, and voila! You'll have access to all the information about the tree.

In a special section, artistically sculpted topiaries steal the spotlight, shaped into amazing designs and configurations. Marvel at the craftsmanship that turns bushes and shrubs into living works of art, adding an extra layer of enchantment to the botanical spectacle.

If you feel like bringing one of these wonders into your home, you can also explore the offerings of the five nurseries on-site.
