As part of L&S’s ongoing mission to encourage learning and the development of expertise in the surveying landscape, our Crystal Cooper (Survey Supervisor) participated and presented at the “Day of Surveying” on the 19 April held at the JFK lecture Theatre, UWI. Crystal presented “Laser Scanning and Digital Twins”. L&S was also pleased to share our knowledge and advice with visitors at our booth.

Days 3 and 4 - Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo - One of the many reasons we enjoy participating in conferences is listening to our various stakeholders and sharing our information while offering solutions through our advanced technology . As we conclude the Conference we leave with a feeling of excitement as we continue to more effectively contribute to the modernization and transformation of Guyana. It was a great show, well done.

Day 2 of Guyana’s Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo - was another busy and exciting day where our CEO, Sasha Addo and Sales Manager, Michael Mohammed engaged Vice President, the Hon. Bharrat Jagdeo of Guyana and several other attendees. Sasha and Michael shared their expertise and tips on how to secure valuable assets through L & S’s advanced technology which can help in transforming and modernizing the Energy sector.

Our 1st day at the Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo. LSK (a subsidiary of L&S) was delighted to welcome Dr. the Hon. Keith Rowley, Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago and The Hon. Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, His Excellency President of the Co-operative of Guyana along with other Government officials to our booth. We look forward to seeing you at Booth #50.”

  My journey at L & S has been a rich tapestry woven with experiences that seamlessly blend challenge and excitement. Nearly 19 years ago, I embarked on this voyage within the organization, greeted by a multitude of growth prospects that I eagerly embraced. These opportunities have served as nourishment for my knowledge and a canvas for my experiences to flourish. From my modest beginnings as a Junior Draftsman, I’ve steadily advanced through the ranks to attain the role of Senior Draftsman. Today, standing as the head of the Drafting department, I am profoundly appreciative of the unswerving faith that my company has vested in me  As the head of the department, my role revolves around efficiently managing the resources under my purview to lead my team in delivering a product and service of the utmost quality and accuracy, always striving to exceed the expectations set by our clients. Among the various aspects of my job, my favourite part undoubtedly lies in sharing the wealth of knowledge I've accumulated over the years. Witnessing my colleagues grow and evolve as professionals through this knowledge-sharing process is incredibly rewarding. When I reflect on the core values that define my approach to work, I find that "Ownership" resonates with me the most. I take personal responsibility for the tasks at hand and drive myself to ensure their successful completion. To newcomers entering the fold, the best piece of advice I can offer is to embrace a proactive stance. Don't hesitate to seek guidance from seasoned colleagues and absorb as much knowledge as you can. This approach not only accelerates your learning curve but also fosters a collaborative and dynamic work environment. While my colleagues may know a lot about me, there's one aspect that remains less apparent: my passion for building things from the ground up. From crafting shelves and desks to assembling speaker boxes, I thoroughly enjoy the process of creating functional items from scratch, a skill that often surprises those around me, and I do believe that it is something that I’m good at. L&S Surveying Services participated in the AMCHAM T&T’s 27th Annual HSSE Conference and Exhibition at the Hyatt Regency from October 31st to November 1st, 2023 where our Advanced Surveying Solutions were displayed. L&S values HSSE as a significant aspect of operations and we were pleased to demonstrate our technology to players and stakeholders in the industry. Members of our Team were present to share our surveying expertise on how it can positively contribute to Health, Safety, Security and Environment.
