Introduction of Thermodynamics

The term "thermodynamics" comes from the Greek words "therme," which means "heat," and "dynamikos," which means "force" or "power." As a result, "Thermodynamics" is essentially the study of forces caused by heat or heat caused by forces.

The study of heat, work, temperature, and energy is known as thermodynamics. The thermodynamic laws describe how energy changes in a system and whether the system can perform useful work on its surroundings. The first law of thermodynamics is a thermodynamic changes of the principle of conservation of energy. In general, the conservation law states that an isolated system's total energy is constant; energy can be transformed from one form to another but cannot be created or destroyed.
